UK Projects

BACC has been involved in a number of projects and activities since its launch in 2002. One of its projects has been the Brighter Future Project which was very successful and exceeded its expectations. The project run during the 2007/2008 financial year and it had 3 main objectives:

• Provide a holistic approach for hard to reach people to enable them to effectively live independently in the wider community.
• Tackle mental health concerns and social exclusion.
• Provide a range of activities to narrow the gap between those who enjoy good health and wellbeing and those who do not.

International Projects

In October 2008, BACC launched the Supporting African Children Towards a Brighter Future, an International Project, for the main purpose of fulfilling its objective of relieving the suffering of people in the African Sub-Saharan countries who are in need, hardship or distress and assist in the recovery of those who are sick, convalescent, disabled or infirm.
Since children are the future, they deserve to access to good education, health and nutrition, water and sanitation and protection for a brighter future. Without this, their future remains bleak. The main objective of the project is to work in partnership with existing local organisations in Africa to ensure that better services are provided and children are able to access these services.
